How to make the best banana bread? Simple! Follow my recipe. This banana bread uses only two bananas. It has a nice crisp crumb, yet it’s moist inside and very tasty.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup Unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1/4 cup Oil (avocado oil is recommended)
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1/2 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 2 Ripe bananas (medium sized)

Instructions
 

  • Mash the two bananas coarsely with a fork. Set aside.
  • Put butter, oil, and sugar in a bowl. Beat with an electric mixer. Cream the mixture until smooth (about 5 minutes)
  • Add eggs one at a time, allowing to emulsify the mixture before adding the other egg. Mix with the cream mixture until completely incorporated. Set aside.
  • In a bowl, sift the flour, salt, and baking soda. Stir with a whisk.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Gently stir with a whisk until just combined.
  • Put the batter in a loaf pan lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 50-60 mins or until golden brown and a skewer comes out clean after being inserted in the bread.
